01The Bench

Aisling O'Brien spent fifteen years behind someone else's counter before she painted her own door teal. Fleurista opened on Main Street, Drumkeeran in August 2025 - a florist and gift shop in a village that had been without one for years.
The work is old-fashioned in a way she likes. Fresh flowers come in on a Wednesday, conditioned overnight, and go out tied by hand. A big altar spray for a Saturday wedding takes the same care as a small posy for a get-well call.
There is no website to order from. There is a phone number. There is a door. There is a bench of fresh stock waiting.
02What's in Today

On the bench this week
- Lisianthus - white and pale green, long stems for altar work.
- Lilies - white and yellow, still in bud so they open through the week.
- Chrysanthemums - yellow, white, bronze. The workhorses.
- Roses - yellow, pink, coral. Imported and local.
- Gerbera - pink, magenta, orange. For colour.
- Carnations - pink and white by the bunch.
- Statice lavender - dusty purple, for fillers and dried arrangements.
- Baby's breath, eucalyptus, hypericum berries, prairie gentian.

Weddings, communions, funerals. Fleurista does altar flowers, pew ends, church porch urns, and hand-tied bride's bouquets.
Aisling has tied arrangements for dozens of Irish churches over fifteen years. Book early for summer Saturdays - they go fast.
